RED KITES AT MOLLINGTON
26/05/2020
Today, after visiting Sourlands Pool at Farnborough, I decided to go home via the bridge over the M40 and through Mollington. Having stopped to take a look at the motorway traffic from the bridge I spotted a solitary red kite as I returned to my car. I grabbed a quick shot but the bird quickly disappeared towards Mollington. I drove about 200 yards down the road and pulled over and spent the next hour photographing up to 5 red kites circling over a field where the grass was being mown.
I took over 200 images. Most were too small to be of any use and the ones included in my new Red Kites gallery were all cropped from much larger images. As such some are just about passable as A3 prints but most are not.
These images were also posted on Facebook.
